Shit. I haven’t posted in two months. I’m still trying to figure out
wtf I’m doing, why I’m doing it, and in what direction I want to take
this little blog of mine. Oh yeah, I’m over-thinking it like a crazy
person.
Still. There’s no good reason for not posting in the mean time. I
don’t know if any blog starts out great. And even if they do, the
blog police aren’t going to find me and take me in for having a shitty
blog for a while.
I don’t think I have any readers yet, and I kind of like it that way.
I mean, this is a public site and anyone could find it. I just don’t
make it a point to think about that part very often.
One of my favorite YouTube musicians posted a great picture with a
quote that I love:
“There will be haters, there will be doubters, there will be
non-believers, and then there will be you, proving them wrong.”
Unfortunately, I don’t know who to credit for the quote, so if the
original author finds it quoted here, I am NOT claiming it as my own.
I’m just sharing it because I like it a lot.
Topic. Yes. I stopped writing because I spent too much time thinking
and trying to plan things and make sense. But that isn’t why I write.
I write because I like to write. Even if all I get are haters,
doubters, and non-believers, and I never prove any of them wrong,
I’m still going to write.
Because there is always a chance that I will write something that
someone needs to read. Or I’ll write something that changes my
thinking, even a tiny bit, and aims me in a better direction.
What’s really sad / funny / stupid / amusing / whatever is that I
already did one of these, “oops I haven’t been posting” posts, and I
haven’t even hit 10 posts yet! Newbs … I swear.
